I love this CPR start, will have to try it sometime! But yes, sometimes you have other things that need attending to more urgently, like stopping C&A player 😁
The ideal CPR start means one assume the CStL player will cooperate and the rest of the table will cooperate and push the trains to the 3. If a strategy depends on other players helping, most of the time it means it doesn't work.
With 2 2-trains, CPR will pay $90 and NYNH will pay $80 with #1 track lay, and you got yourself a track lay helper if you later opens NYC or B&M. $10 is not too much a trade off for that.
